In 2008, I was diagnosed with uterine and ovarian cancers. At that time, my CA-125* was above 10. I learned that wheatgrass juice would help me fight the cancer. I started to drink it, and it brought my CA-125 down below 7, and I did not suffer from any chemotherapy side-effects other than losing some body hair.
After a European vacation on which I was not able to drink wheatgrass juice, my CA-125 had risen to more than 22. My treating doctor and I were concerned. I immediately started drinking wheatgrass juice, and within a week, my level had fallen to below 12. I was tested again last February, and my CA-125 was below 7.
Based on these blood tests, I can say that wheatgrass juice has positively helped me in my fight against cancer. I will continue to get fresh wheatgrass from Spiral Sprouts of Houston. I am very thankful to them for their unspoken assistance in my cancer treatment, and I recommend to all to drink wheatgrass juice on a daily basis.

P.S. Dr. Kathleen Schmeler and Dr. Anuja Jhingran, my treating oncologists at M.D. Anderson Cancer Treatment Center in Houston, both suggested and supported wheatgrass juice as aiding in the recovery from cancer and cancer treatment.
*CA-125 is a protein that's found in elevated levels in tumors. It's detected through blood tests. It is most prevalent in ovarian cancers. Normal levels vary from one individual to the next, but are generally considered to be acceptable under 35 units of protein per milliliter of blood.
